A new year for this wolfie

well now, this has been a rather interesting year ^_^

much to say but sometimes putting it into words are the hardest parts =) good stuff, shit happens, but i feel i have grown as an individual. living life really is life's greatest lesson, and just all too often many of us don't realise that if we don't step forward and live the moment, it will just slip us by like a shady wraith...

sometimes we hesitate too much. more often than not, its cuz of fear or insecurity, but who can blame us? uncertainties are definitely intimidating, and i've had my fair share of shaky moments too, 'specially this year... but as i learnt to step forward and just embrace it, to do what i have to do... i have gained much, much that i would not have if i had cowered and refused to acknowledge that things will happen. its just a question of sooner or later and how i'll handle it when it gets here.

happiness and a wave of light relief comes over me when its all said and done. sure at times it may hurt a little... but hey, its a lot like sports: you train and get them muscle aches, but when the aches subsides you are already stronger. maybe im just optimistic but least thats how i look at it =)

patience, tolerance, care, being true to myself and my feelings, love, restraint, perseverance, a sense of keeping it real and yet dare to dream are just a few of the many i will hopefully bring with me to the next year, and years after.

through the ups and downs, one thing has remained constant which i am blessed with. friends, my dear friends, who have stuck by me, enjoyed and amplified the good times, and supported each other during the not so pleasant ones. many many times i look back and just reflect the past, and my eyes get all watery at the precious memories and moments. gosh, im all emotional and sappy now pfft =)
cherished and forever indebted to **friends**, life is sweet and special with you fellahs.

to that. the countdown just happened. happy new year people, im not much for praying but i pray you all have a BLOODY BOMBASTIC year ahead ^_~
